Tom Wilkinson, star of ‘The Full Monty,’ dies at 75

Tom Wilkinson, star of the 1997 British comedy The Full Monty, has died at 75 years old.

“It is with great sadness that the family of Tom Wilkinson announce that he died suddenly at home on December 30th. His wife and family were with him,” said Nancy Seltzer, Wilkinson’s publicist, in a statement provided to Wallflower Writing.

Wilkinson was best known for his role as Gerald in The Full Monty movie from 1997, as well as the 2023 follow-up limited series of the same name. He also portrayed Carmine Falcone in Batman Begins.

The cause of death is unclear at this time.
