In a stunning move reminiscent of an April Fools joke, Xbox has officially released a product that brings a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘let’s get this bread.’

You read that right — Xbox has revealed a toaster based on one of the latest Microsoft console models.
It looks like the next-gen toaster is currently only available to purchase online as pickup and delivery aren’t selectable options. If you’re in the market for a new toaster, and you’re a die-hard Xbox fan, it’ll cost you $39.99 to pick this bad boy up.
Gamers love toasters…apparently
Strangely enough, this isn’t the first time a gaming company has released a purchasable toaster.
Back in November 2020, Destiny developer, Bungie, announced a replica Jotunn toaster, based on the infamous fusion rifle of the same name. This was due to many players referring to the gun as a toaster, and was just a meme until Bungie took it a step further and actually made a Jotunn toaster.
Honestly, it probably would’ve been a hit if it hadn’t cost….$85. It actually ended up to be a massive point of contention between Bungie and its playerbase, as players were unhappy with the quality of the product compared to the price.
Luckily, it looks like Microsoft has managed to avoid those same mistakes, and made a genuinely good-looking toaster at a fairly reasonable price to match.
