One of the biggest wireless headsets on the market, the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro is now the official headset of the upcoming Capcom Cup X!
SteelSeries x Capcom
SteelSeries is teaming up with Street Fighter publisher Capcom for the upcoming Capcom Cup X as the brand has been named the official headset of the competition, SteelSeries announced in a press release Thursday.
Capcom Cup X serves as the “epic culmination” of the 2023 Capcom Pro Tour esports season featuring Street Fighter 6, the latest entry in the Street Fighter franchise. 48 players from across the globe will compete for a $1 million grand prize, all while wearing the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro wireless gaming headset.
The announcement is a pretty big deal, as audio is a major factor in esports competitions, so having one official headset that every player uses puts each competitor on an even playing ground (audio-wise), but it also means the headset must be pretty dang good.
Capcom Cup X Dates
Here are the upcoming dates for Capcom Cup X:
Event Dates:
• February 16 – 18: Last Chance Qualifier
• February 21 – 23: Group Elimination
• February 24: Street Fighter League World Championship
• February 25: CAPCOM CUP X Grand Finals
Will you be watching the Capcom Cup X grand finals? Personally, I’ve been trying to get better at fighting games lately, so I may actually tune in to see how the pros do it….and then inevitably get overwhelmed and disheartened by how bad I actually am compared to them.
You can check out the competition on the Capcom Fighters Twitch channel here!
